Chicago Med: I Will Do No Harm

What Happened Here? – Chicago Med (Episode Highlight)

Chicago Med isnt participating in the One Chicago crossover in its 8 p.m. ET slot on February 26, but just because this event falls short of the falls Infection crossover doesnt mean there wont be some exciting twists all night. After all, Meds Will Halstead recently made what could be a very bad decision, the love triangle is as triangular as ever, and Dr. Charles recently suffered a loss. So, whats happening when I Will Do No Harm hits the airwaves?

Dr. Charles and Dr. Manning treat a patient who is fully invested in pretending to be someone other than himself. Noah begins to doubt his abilities as a doctor. Dr. Marcel and Dr. Choi are faced with a tough ethical decision. Dr. Halstead puts his faith in an addict.

Dr. Manning treating a patient determined that hes somebody else definitely sounds like a case to seek Dr. Charles insight on, and Im guessing April will wind up somehow involved in what happens with Dr. Marcel and Dr. Choi. Fresh off quitting the safe injection site, Will apparently hopes Hannah has what it takes to recover. Will something go wrong for Noah to doubt himself? We can only find out on February 26 at 8 p.m. ET with Chicago Med.

Chicago Fire Started The One Chicago Crossover With Infection Part 1 Find Out What Happened In Our Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 4 Recap

This weeks Chicago Fire was the first hour of the latest One Chicago crossover, and it certainly provided plenty of suspense to get fans on the edge of their seats.

Infection begins with many of our One Chicago heroes tailgating before a Chicago Bears game, complete with a voiceover from the legendary sportscaster Al Michaels. But what should be a fun get-together, well, you know its going to turn bad or we wouldnt have a showlet alone a three-hour crossover.

There are literally two minutes of banter before Matthew Casey notices a commotion. A guy is seizing and just repeating the acronym BRT over and over again. Not only that, but his leg is covered in a gross flesh-eating bacteria that makes us want to apologize to anyone whos watching this episode while having dinner.

The man is rushed to Chicago Med, where Dr. Will Halstead steps in, much to the annoyance of his ex-fiancee Dr. Natalie Manning . The two break the news of it being flesh-eating bacteria to everyone else, and ask them for help in identifying their patient. You have to cringe when Natalie says its not contagious, since the crossover promos have revealed otherwise.

But back to the crisis-in-waiting. Ambulance 61 gets a distress call, and they force entry into the house only to find two dead bodies inside. These victims have the same symptoms as the person who collapsed at the tailgate. Now this officially is an epidemic.

Chicago Med Continued The One Chicago Crossover In Infection Part 2 Find Out What Happened In Our Chicago Med Season 5 Episode 4 Recap

This weeks Chicago Med served as the second hour of the latest One Chicago crossover, which dealt with the treatment of a city-wide bacterial epidemic.

Infection, Part 2 actually begins with characters from Chicago PD, as Jay Halstead sends Hailey Upton to find one of suspect Stuart Andersons former co-workers. Veronica conveniently didnt show up for work on the day of the fire. Unfortunately, that is because shes clearly infected.

She collapses in front of Upton, bleeding all over her in the process. Now we know which main character drew the short straw in this crossover! When Upton comes back to Chicago Med, shes thrown into quarantine thanks to a hangnail.

Centers for Disease Control expert Andrea Danover shows up and just happens to be an old classmate of Dr. Will Halstead . Especially when Will is asked to be the liaison, you can guess where this may end up going should the writers decide to keep Andrea on after this crossover.

But first, the infection has spread to an entire apartment building. One Chicago burned an apartment building in the last three-show crossover now its infecting one instead. The additional patients make Chicago Fires Chief Wallace Boden realize that no one actually has any clue how the disease is transmitted, despite all the talking thats been going on, and he tells Danover and Will to figure it out.

Chicago Fire: Off The Grid

Chicago Fire will cross over with its original spinoff series in the 9 p.m. ET slot on February 26 with Off The Grid. There will likely be no flesh-eating bacteria for this crossover, but lives will still be very much at risk, as they generally are when the firefighters of Firehouse 51 cross paths with the cops of Chicago P.D. This two-parter brings back none other than P.D.s Sean Roman, who departed back in P.D. Season 3. What brings him back to the Windy City?

In a two-show crossover event with Chicago P.D., a series of teen opioid overdoses sees Severide partner with Sean Roman , but begins to suspect thereâs more to the story than his old friend is telling him. Casey tries to be there for Brett as she considers her birth motherâs offer to meet.

Considering the crossover probably wouldnt deliver what Fire star Jesse Spencer described as a Liam Neeson revengewith Roman back in the mix if this was just about drug overdoses, Im not surprised it will take two hours and two shows to crack the case! Casey and Brett will evidently still be occupied with her dilemma regarding her birth mom, but the Roman story will be the one to carry over to Chicago P.D.

Chicago Med Season 5 Episode 4 Review: Infection Part 2

Nothing is scarier than a deadly disease that strikes seemingly at random, especially when doctors have no clue how to prevent or treat it.

Chicago Med Season 5 Episode 4 picked up where Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 4 left off, with the Med team scrambling to contain and treat a deadly superbug before Chicago PD lost one of their own.

Crossover episodes dont always work out well, but this one was powerful.

One Chicago crossovers present multiple challenges.

Viewers who dont watch all three Chicago shows may be confused by references to continuing storylines on the ones they dont watch.

And the story has to provide a realistic reason for characters from all three Chicago shows to interact.

Chicago Med did a beautiful job of that.

Past seasons might have had Haley Upton from Chicago PDs exposure to the bacteria be the only link between the three shows, and that would have been a shame.

Haleys scenes with Amanda were touching, but it was predictable that someone from Chicago Fire or Chicago PD would end up quarantined.

After all, the first responders were all trying to help outbreak victims.

Less predictable was the way everyones terror brought both Chicago Fire and Chicago PD into the fold.

Goodwin and the Chicago Med team were already under tremendous pressure thanks to the Mayor, the media, and the fact that the body count was piling up and nobody had any answers about what was going on.

Chicago Med Ramps Up The Tension Before The One Chicago Crossover Event Heads Into Its Concluding Instalment

The Chicago Med episode, Infection Part II, shortly after the Chicago Fire instalment leaves off. Sharon Goodwin can be seen exiting the hospital to address a gaggle of press and television media journalists gathered at the EDs main entrance. As they rush to question Goodwin, in their zealousness to be the first to get the news out there, reports are misleading and highly edited.

Meanwhile, in the ED, Dr Natalie Manning is examining Detective Hailey Upton for open wounds. With her having blood on her shirt from an individual infected with a flesh-eating bacterium, the doctor is covering all the bases. If there is any possibility the detective has an open wound, it is likely she could have been infected when her shirt become soaked in blood.

When Manning examines the detectives hands, she finds a trace of blood around one of Uptons fingernails. Upton thinks she may have bitten a hangnail. When Upton asks if its a problem, Mannings facial expression looks grim.

Elsewhere, in the EDs hybrid-OR, Dr Crockett Marcel is vigilantly operating on one of the victims. With piece after piece of dead and rotting tissue removed from the body, any hope of saving the patient becomes increasingly unlikely. Marcel calls time of death at 10:38.

In Apartment 12, the patient is convulsing wildly. Foster expresses concern for whats going on. The situation is becoming untenable.

Meanwhile, in the EDs Hybrid OR, Marcel is still losing patients. Lynn Messick time of death 14:42.

Its Time For The One Chicago Crossover Of 2019 Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 4 Kicks Off The Night And Heres How To Watch The Whole Thing Live

Theres a slight change to the One Chicago schedule this week. Chicago Fire is moving to the 8 p.m. slot, as it kicks off the One Chicago crossover of 2019. The three-episode, one-night event is going to take you through plenty of drama, horror, and more.

Its Severide who suspects that theres something bigger to this. After all, at first theyll just think that there are numerous victims with the same disease. Bacterial infections can pass on, right? One Chicago Crossover Review: Infection

This is how you do a crossover, folks.

All three shows in the One Chicago universe have come together again for one-night crossover event, and its as gross and epic as the cast members told us it would be.

Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 4, Infection, Part I begins the crossover. Its followed by Chicago Med Season 5 Episode 4, Infection, Part II, and finally Chicago P.D. Season 7 Episode 4, Infection, Part III. But it truly is difficult to know where one show begins and another ends, and thats the largest strength of the crossover itself.

This isnt just a few characters popping over from one show to the next. The hospital and the police department are involved immediately in the first hour of the event, and the firefighters and paramedics are a part of it through to the end of the Chicago P.D.episode. Its one cohesive story.

Sure, theres an extra focus with a major fire in the first hour, more attention on the hospital in the middle, and more focus on the police investigation at the end, but its seamless and feels quite natural, making the entire thing a little extra special.

The premise is that there is a flesh-eating bacteria thats spreading in the city, but its unlike anything anyone has seen, so much so that it veers toward a bit of science fiction or at least it feels that way.

Chicago Pd: Burden Of Proof

Chicago P.D. will close out the night of One Chicago on February 26 as usual at 10 p.m. ET, but thats not to say that Burden of Proof will be business as usual for the cops of Intelligence. Burgess will be back at work after suffering her brutal miscarriage, and shell seemingly reconnect with former flame Sean Roman. Unsurprisingly, the case that started on Fire will take a dark turn once P.D. takes over:

Part 2 of Crossover with Chicago Fire Intelligence searches for the dealer who caused multiple overdoses and is connected to Romans missing sister. The case becomes a homicide investigation when they find the dealers dead body. Guest star: Brian Geraghty.

I dont want to say that Roman totally killed the guy, but considering how Roman goes about inserting himself into the investigation, I would be very surprised if hes not a prime suspect when the drug dealer winds up dead. Thats not to say Roman would necessarily get in much trouble for it the cops of Intelligence tend to protect their own, and Roman at least was more or less one of them.

See what happens when One Chicago returns to NBC with new episodes of Chicago Med at 8 p.m. ET, Chicago Fire at 9 p.m. ET, and Chicago P.D. at 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 26.

CHICAGO PD Season 7 Episode 4 " Infection, Part III" Photos

This weeks Chicago Med is the second part of the One Chicago crossover, and NBC has released a slew of photos from the episode as a result.

Wednesdays installment is titled Infection, Part 2 as Med moves into the time slot normally for Chicago Fire in order to continue the three-show, three-hour story.

Since this is the second part, the Chicago Med photos this week are certainly going to be exciting for One Chicago fans. The crossover is in full swing by hour two, and as such, characters from the other two series pop up throughout the image gallery.

Theres particularly a strong presence for Chicago PD, as the crossover trailer revealed that one of that shows main characters has a medical predicament.

Plus, newcomer Vanessa Rojas continues to get a significant amount of screen time this time its just with Dr. Ethan Choi . It seems like everyone has a part to play, which is exactly what fans want in a crossover. Will Rojas have learned from her rookie mistakes, or will Meds doctors also have to reel her in?

The other interesting thing is the significant presence of Dr. Daniel Charles in these photos. How much can a psychiatric expert help with a flesh-eating bacteria? Is he on hand to try and do some sort of psych profile of the person who unleashed it?
